Our innovative new Centre for Wellbeing in Edgware is due to open in the spring of 2009. It will replace the Shalom Centre that was housed in the Michael Sobell Community Centre in Golders Green. Costing just over £2m, it is being funded by the generous support of members of the community.

The two-storey building will consist of consulting rooms, social areas, a training suite, IT facilities and a café. A wide selection of holistic, therapeutic and cultural services will be offered in the following areas:
- Healthy living (food, exercise such as yoga and Pilates, relaxation, personal safety and positive self-image)
- Personal development (support groups for a range of issues including stress management, confidence-building and personal expression)
- Life coaching (support and advice ranging from counselling and housing assessment to laughter therapy)
- Social networking (social and cultural activities including Shabbat meals, communal seders, social opportunities, befriending and relaxing in our café)
- Learning, education and employment (educating the community on the importance of wellbeing, developing work skills such as IT training and CV writing)
